Privacy Policy

MassPDF helps users edit PDF files online. This policy explains what information is collected, how it is used, and the choices available to users.

Information MassPDF collects

When you use MassPDF, the service may process account information from Google sign-in, uploaded PDF files, edits and annotations, saved drafts, download session records, device/browser details, IP address, and basic usage logs needed to operate and secure the app.

PDF files and drafts

PDF files and edits are processed so MassPDF can render documents, save account drafts, prepare edited downloads, and provide short-lived authenticated download links. Do not upload documents unless you have the right to edit and process them through the service.

Google sign-in

MassPDF uses Google authentication so users can sign in, save drafts and download edited PDFs. Google may provide profile details such as your name, email address, and account identifier. MassPDF uses this information to authenticate you and manage your account state.

Downloads

Editing starts free. Google sign-in is required to save account drafts and download edited PDFs. Edited PDF downloads are currently free.

The service may keep temporary download session records so edited files can be prepared, served to the signed-in user, and cleaned up after they are no longer needed.

Advertising and cookies

Ad serving is currently paused. When advertising is enabled, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to MassPDF or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables Google and its partners to serve ads based on visits to MassPDF and other sites on the internet. Ad-serving vendors may place and read cookies or use web beacons, IP addresses and other identifiers to collect information, measure advertising and deliver ads. Users can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. Users can also learn more about online advertising choices at aboutads.info.

Consent for covered regions

No advertising scripts are loaded while ad serving is paused. Advertising will only resume after the required consent controls have been configured and verified. For personalized advertising in the EEA, UK and Switzerland, this includes a Google-certified consent management platform. Any resumed advertising must offer the required choices and a way to revisit or withdraw consent. Non-personalized advertising can also require consent for storage.

Support requests

The support form collects your reply email address, request title and message. These are sent to MassPDF support so we can respond. Do not include passwords, payment credentials or confidential document contents in a support request.

How information is used

MassPDF uses information to provide PDF editing, authentication, drafts, secure downloads, abuse prevention, troubleshooting, analytics, legal compliance, and advertising where enabled.

Service providers

MassPDF may share information with service providers that help operate the app, including hosting, database, authentication, analytics, security, and advertising providers. These providers process information to support the service they provide.

Data retention

MassPDF keeps information only as long as needed to provide the service, maintain account drafts, satisfy legal records, prevent abuse, and resolve technical issues. Download links expire after 15 minutes. Server cleanup targets drafts unchanged for two days and download records at least one day after use or expiry. Cleanup runs during service activity and may be delayed; link expiry is separate from stored-record deletion.

User choices

You can choose not to sign in, avoid saving drafts, delete local browser data, opt out of personalized advertising through Google's tools, or contact MassPDF about privacy questions.
