MassPDF helps users edit PDF files online. This policy explains what information is collected, how it is used, and the choices available to users.

Information MassPDF collects

When you use MassPDF, the service may process account information from Google sign-in, uploaded PDF files, edits and annotations, saved drafts, download session records, device/browser details, IP address, and basic usage logs needed to operate and secure the app.

PDF files and drafts

PDF files and edits are processed so MassPDF can render documents, save account drafts, prepare edited downloads, and provide short-lived authenticated download links. Do not upload documents unless you have the right to edit and process them through the service.

Google sign-in

MassPDF uses Google authentication so users can sign in, save drafts, and access paid or admin-only features. Google may provide profile details such as your name, email address, and account identifier. MassPDF uses this information to authenticate you and manage your account state.

Downloads

MassPDF is currently free to use. The service may keep temporary download session records so edited files can be prepared, served to the signed-in user, and cleaned up after they are no longer needed.

Advertising and cookies

MassPDF may use Google AdSense to show ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to MassPDF or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables Google and its partners to serve ads based on visits to MassPDF and other sites on the internet.

Consent for covered regions

For users in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland, MassPDF will use Google's Privacy & messaging tools or another Google-certified consent management platform before serving personalized ads where consent is required.

MassPDF uses information to provide PDF editing, authentication, drafts, secure downloads, abuse prevention, troubleshooting, analytics, legal compliance, and advertising where enabled.

Service providers

Data retention

MassPDF keeps information only as long as needed to provide the service, maintain account drafts, satisfy legal records, prevent abuse, and resolve technical issues. Temporary download sessions are designed to expire quickly.

User choices

You can choose not to sign in, avoid saving drafts, delete local browser data, opt out of personalized advertising through Google's tools, or contact MassPDF about privacy questions.
